This is the cover art I created for my next book. It is a 3 layer work. The background is a creative commons piece I took off flickr. It's a photo by Dave Young of the milky way's galactic center. The middle layer is a 1788 map of the atlantic that inverted the colors and made mostly transparent. The front layer is my own creation from Daz3D and LuxRender. I removed the black hair and shadows to let the background through. The story is a vampire version of Elizabeth Bathory seeking atonement in the late 18th century. She runs a shipping company and travels around the the atlantic in the story from Havana to Savannah to Philly to New York to London. This is Dark Fantasy vampire not paranormal romance.
